Pregnancy Ultrasounds

No preparation is required

Dating scan – this is to give you a due date, (Estimated date of delivery for your pregnancy) and to confirm your due date, when you are unsure.

Nuchal Translucency scan ( First Trimester Combined Screening)
This scan must be performed between 11 and 14 weeks. This is  risk assessment is made by combining the nuchal translucency measurement with your age, and other factors like the blood test. Your midwife will explain the test and will give you the result.

Morphology Scan – Is performed at 19-20 weeks, and is performed to assess the growth of the baby and it’s development. This is the time we will be able to tell whether your baby is a Boy or Girl.

Growth scan – to check that your baby is growing appropriately,  on a normal growth curve.
