Kia Ora, Congratulations on your pregnancy!

My name is Shiella but you can call me Shai.
I am a proud mother of two beautiful children, I am based in Whanganui. Being involved in a woman’s journey from pregnancy to the postnatal period is an honor. I believe this space is sacred. I am passionate about empowering and supporting wahine and their whanau, through this journey.

I provide support and care from conception throughout pregnancy, labour/birth and 6 week postantal period. I believe pregnancy is a natural and normal life event. I will advocate for the wahine I am in partnership with, encompassing her beliefs and needs in this time.

I work within a supportive group of five Midwives called Ako Mai Midwifery. I use Tuesdays to attend home visit appointments in Whanganui, Wednesdays I have a Whanganui Clinic day (Jubilanee clinic), Thursdays is clinic in Marton and home-visits in surrounding areas.
