Whanganui Plunket Breastfeeding Support Service

Free breastfeeding support for māmā wherever they are on their breastfeeding journey. Available to all whānau, even if not enrolled with Plunket. We run drop-in clinics, or you can contact us by phone or email to make an appointment.

Book online at Lactation consultant service Whānau Āwhina Plunket or call PlunketLine on 0800 933 922 (free and available 24/7).  Our Plunket nurse, Kaiāwhina or your lead maternity carer (LMC) can also help book an appointment.

Milk Café runs every Friday from 10am to 12pm (except for public holidays) for māmā to come along and get support with baby feeding. Hapū māmā (pregnant women) are welcome too. Lactation consultant is available virtually to give advice and answer any questions.
