WellChild Tamariki Ora

You and your baby will be transferred from your midwife to the Well Child/Tamariki Ora team of your choice when baby is between 4 and six weeks old.

Your handbook for the first five years ‘ My Health Book’
This book belongs to you and your child.
The words ‘you’ and ‘your’ mean anyone who will love and care for this child – father, mother, partner, foster parent, grandparent, whānau, family, babysitter or childcare worker.
In it, you will find information about your child’s development and places to record this.
Keep the handbook somewhere safe and use it to write down all the special and important things that happen to your child.
When your child sees a doctor, nurse or other health professional, they will need to record your child’s health and development information. Please take this book with you every time you take your child to a health appointment or hospital visit.
Your handbook details visits and activities. For more information check out Well Child Tamariki Ora visits
